Article 1 :

 

  1-A In order to obtain a license or the renewal of a license, all boxers must submit to a thorough medical examination by a physician approved by the local Boxing Commission (Federation).
  1-B The examination shall include a complete history of the applicant and any of all of the necessary laboratory procedures.
  1-C All boxers in championship bouts must be given a physical examination at least 2 days prior to the date of fight by a physician approved by the Boxing Commission.
Article 2 :

 

  2-A In all categories the bandage of the hand shall be of 12 yards of soft gauze of no more than 2 inches wide, and no more than one inch wide of 8 feeds of surgeon's tape for each hand.
  2-B The binding of the surgeon's tape must not be applied in less than one inch from the knuckle part.
Article 3 :

 

    The Referee shall have the authority to stop the fight and make a decision during any stage of the fight, if he considers that the bout has become "one-sided", or if any of the contender is in such condition that if the fight continue he is liable to suffer serious damage.
Article 4 :

 

    The ringside physician may only step up to the ring during the fight, when he required to do so by the Referee, to examine the injury.
Article 5 :

 

    A portable resuscitator with oxygen equipment and a stretcher shall be available at the ringside.

An ambulance properly equipped with resuscitation equipment and manned by duly trained personnel to transfer any injured boxer to a hospital should be available at the site of the bout.
Article 6 :

 

    All the boxers entering into the PABA championship fights must submit an authol'ized letter, issued by their Commission, to the local Commission or the Supervisor assigned by the PABA fo7'the fight.

The attached form should be referred by the boxers for the championship bouts.
